And can you thrive in a versatile position where you support research management and research units with a wide range of administrative tasks? Then you might be our new colleague in Clinical Orthopedic Research Hvidovre (CORH) and at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. About the position We are looking for an administrative employee to take on a central role for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery's research. You will be responsible for financial management, various administrative tasks, research registration, fund administration and general coordination of research activities. The position involves close collaboration with professor and research manager Anders Troelsen, the department management, the department's local research council and other researchers, the finance department, external partners and other stakeholders. It is expected that up to 40% of the working time is used to cover the needs that are in relation to the department's other research-related tasks. As a research administrator, your tasks will be wide-ranging, but the primary work areas will be: For CORH and the department: Finance and budget management: Controlling research projects, creating new accounts, invoicing, reporting, salary budgets and re-budgeting. Fund administration: Identification of funding opportunities, support for fund applications and financial reporting, including working within deadlines. Research registration: Update and maintenance of PURE, pull of publication lists and bibliometrics as well as annual research statistics and registration. For CORH: Project coordination and administration: Monitoring of deadlines, reporting and support of research activities, ongoing follow-up of company and research collaborations, including document management and contracts in collaboration with the legal entity. In addition, you will have weekly status meetings with Professor Anders Troelsen and provide administrative support based on the meetings. CAG ROAD: Coordination of the Clinical Academic Group – including finances, planning meetings, holding symposiums and other research communication. The local research council: Planning, support and follow-up. Communication and contact: Serve as a link between internal and external stakeholders, collaboration partners and support research dissemination via SoMe and other channels. Meeting planning and calendar management: Planning of meetings, including coordination, catering, minute writing and follow-up. Your profile We are looking for a structured and independent employee who thrives in a research context and with administrative and coordinating tasks. You have: A relevant higher education. Experience with research administration, financial management and fund applications. Distinct ability to work independently and take responsibility for processes and deadlines. Good IT skills and experience with financial management tools (SAP). Good communication skills in both Danish and English. A positive approach to both large and small tasks. About us Clinical Orthopedic Research Hvidovre (CORH) is a dynamic research unit within orthopedic surgery, led by Professor Anders Troelsen. We are a team of researchers and administrative staff who work closely together to conduct high quality research. CORH is part of Greater Copenhagen Health Science Partners (GCHSP) and Clinical Academic Group – CAG ROAD, where we collaborate across research institutions. You will have a broad coordinating, administrative and developing function close to the research management. General information about the Department of Orthopedic Surgery: The department is divided into sections (pediatric orthopedics, alloplastic surgery, arthroscopic surgery, hand surgery, traumatology and foot-ankle surgery). Orthopedic surgery department, Hvidovre has a total of 78 beds divided into 3 sections: An emergency section with 35 beds which includes, among other things, femur fractures, amputations and wounds. A section with 26 beds for acute patients and a section with 17 beds. A section is an elective 5-day section. Annually, the outpatient clinic has approx. 65,000 consultations, and approx. 8,500 operations, of which 2,000 are elective, 3,000 are acute and 3,500 in same-day surgery.
