HOTEL ID DESCRIPTION Athens The L7 Str Hotel is a Luxury Boutique Collection Hotel uniquely fitted in an architectural piece of jewellery Beaux-Art building. Located in the very heart of Athens city center. A breath away from Omonoia and Monastiraki squares, next to the main Town hall, the Hotel is perfectly situated in a quiet spot between Athinas and Aiolou streets, next to public hub transportation and few shopping centers. The hotel architecture and design smoothly combine the Beaux Art and modern technology world, to make its guests moving to different dimension, to live the fairy tale of The L7 Str Hotel concept. The Hotel features 30 uniquely designed rooms and suites, fully equipped with high end amenities and facilities including, a restaurant, Lounge bar, top floor Garden Bar, Sky Lounge open cinema, a sun-sand deck, wellness water spot, sauna and gym. Receptionist Position overview The Receptionist Perform Front Office, Reception and Information operations, applying the organizational structure defined by the Hotel operating system. Promote the Athens The L7 Str Boutique Collection Hotel brand philosophy through his or her exemplary attitude, behavior, uniform and excellent communication skills. Form the link and interfaces between the hotel's different departments and various points of reception. Take care of guests from their arrival through to their departure. Contribute to guest satisfaction at all times by providing high quality services throughout their stay. Promote the hotel's offer. Help meet the department's quantitative targets through his/her sales efforts. Job duties Guest relationship Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner that meets the establishment's quality standards. Perform IT and administrative procedures related to check-in / check-out on the Protel system. Escort guests to their rooms. Provide follow-up on guests’ stay by communicating important information to colleagues and superiors and by checking guarantees. Answer phone calls and take reservations in a timely manner. Maintain, check and control his/her personal cash register. Respond to different guest requests and follow them up to guarantee guest satisfaction. Provide guests with tourist information. Carry out the projects which are entrusted to him/her by higher management. Apply the procedures and policies defined by the brand and the hotel. Expertise related to the job: Make the guest's stay easier, providing appropriate information and solutions to meet his/her needs. Take care of the arrival and departure processes for guests in compliance with internal procedures. Inform guests about the formalities, any particular conditions relating to their stay and the services available in the hotel. Handle phone calls. Pass on information as necessary to other departments (floor staff, technical, etc.) and to other members of the department. Ensure that all guest documentation is up-to-date and available. Handle reservations for all points of sale as needed. Is the point of contact for information both destined for hotel guests and concerning them. Promote the hotel's range of services in order to increase sales. Apply and actively support the hotel's pricing policy in order to increase REVPAR. Promote the brand and/or Group loyalty program, adapting the sales pitch to suit the guest's needs. Encourage synergy within the marketplace by applying the inter-hotel coordination policy. Advise guests on potential trips to other Company hotels. Teamwork is a must. Management of the teams / cross-departmental activities Assure the interface between all hotel departments and service-providers if necessary. Help train and develop other front office agents in the team. Management and administration Respect procedures governing invoicing and cash operations. Manage the cash under his/her responsibility. May be asked to undertake administrative tasks as needed Hygiene / Safety / Environment Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations. Ensure the safety of people and property. Ensure the cleanliness of the workplace and the proper functioning of the equipment of his/her department Is familiar with and apply the procedures to be followed in the event of a fire evacuation. Is familiar and apply the Planet21 program policy. DNA of the brand Be authentic Share success stories Be generous Personalize service Profile Education / Professional experience Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality/Tourism At least 2-3 years experience in relevant position, preferably in the luxury or high end sector Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in Greek and English Good Knowledge of third and more languages would be an asset Excellent knowledge of Protel / Web Hotelier Skills / Qualities Team spirit Enthusiastic Spontaneous and empathic Good listening
