Job Description

We are looking for colleagues for permanent full-time positions from 1 May 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter. After appropriate training, you will be part of the 24-hour shift scheme on a fixed basis. There is, of course, the possibility of switching, so that working life can be adapted to your leisure and family life. In the Blood Bank, approx. 70 bioanalysts in collaboration with nurses and secretaries, doctors and other researchers, for a coherent process for the patients. The laboratories at the Department of Clinical Immunology, Rigshospitalet include the following specialties: transfusion medicine, blood type serology and blood type genetics. Fractionation of donor blood, quality control and virus laboratory. Stem cell laboratory, as well as research and development laboratory including the Biobank. The laboratories are led by a senior bioanalyst and the tasks are carried out partly by bioanalysts who have chosen a permanent function in one laboratory and bioanalysts who rotate between the laboratories. As a new employee, you will rotate between routine functions, so that you gain good skills in the various areas. The Department of Clinical Immunology is part of the training of bioanalyst students in the Capital Region and all our bioanalysts participate in part of the clinical teaching and sidekick training. About the Diagnostic Center The Diagnostic Center is one of Rigshospitalet's seven centers with approx. 1,550 full-time employees and an annual turnover of DKK 1.2 billion. The core services are diagnostics and patient treatment, research and education. The Diagnostic Center supports patient treatment by annually producing more than 10 million answers to laboratory analyses, more than 650,000 imaging examinations and the center has more than 1 million contacts to patients and donors. The centre's 35 professors and other researchers annually publish more than 700 scientific articles in internationally recognized journals. The center contains the Department of X-ray and Scanning, Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Department of Pathology, Department of Clinical Immunology (Capital Region blood banks, tissue banks and tissue typing laboratory), Department of Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine, Department of Clinical Microbiology, Department of Genetics, Department of Genomic Medicine and DEKS.
