Job Description
A&M Group is looking for a Construction Manager with a university degree in Engineering and a minimum of 7-10 years of on-site construction experience in building projects. The company offers Design & Build services for various design projects, sizes and typologies, throughout Greece. Role Description The Construction Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at construction sites, including site management, planning, cost control, and budgeting. The ideal candidate should support a healthy company culture and be able to adapt to different teams. Our new A&M member should have effective management and team leadership skills, strong design understanding, excellent technical skills and experience in managing all stages of a project’s construction. They will be responsible for delivering high quality construction projects and able to produce a construction plan, understand time schedules while identifying the requirements of each phase. They will supervise daily the onsite activities, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, and collaborate with engineers, architects and subcontractors to resolve technical issues. Requirements Engineering Degree – Mechanical, Civil Engineer or Architect 7-10 years of experience as a site engineer or equivalent Significant knowledge of the Greek Legal Framework of Construction Proficient knowledge of Autocad, MS Project, MS office Proficiency in English (oral and written) Analytical, problem-solving approach Interpersonal skills and ability to delegate and effectively communicate methods Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results. Time Management Skills Willingness to learn and continuously expand technical and business skills Main Responsibilities Supervision and management of construction projects from start to final handover, strictly following project plans and specifications. Reporting project updates, milestones and potential risks to the project manager and key stakeholders (weekly or biweekly) Understanding architectural, structural and engineering drawings, survey reports and other technical documentation to guide the construction process. Planning and allocating resources while overseeing process, materials and equipment to optimise project efficiency. Managing subcontractor’s work while ensuring compliance to project specifications Monitoring project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and strictly following budget constraints. Providing technical guidance and expertise to resolve construction-related challenges.
