A position as church singer at Frederikshavn church is available

The church singer must carry out the following tasks: singing at church services, nursing home services and at singing events, etc. The services are usually between 10.30 and 15.00. Some evenings may occur. The position is approx. 450 hours per year, divided by approx. 9 hours/week. Frederikshavn parish has 7729 inhabitants. The church's staff consists of 3 priests, 2 organists, 1 church culture worker, 2 church servants, 2 choirmasters, church choir and 1 kitchen assistant. It is important that you have a good voice and can work closely with the organist, the priests and the other employees at Frederikshavn church. We expect you to be punctual and flexible and would like to sing both traditional hymns, newer hymns and songs from the high school songbook. Hiring a church singers are covered by the Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and CO10 – the Central Organization of 2010 and the organizational agreement between the Ministry of Church Affairs and CO10 for church officials with core duties such as choirmaster, parish assistant/church cultural worker or church musician and the associated protocol for church musicians.
