If you value working at the crossroads between compliance and HR in an international set up, then this position as Compliance & People Manager is just for you! As Compliance and People Manager, you will play a central role in Alpha, as you will be responsible for the HR function and ensure that the company complies with applicable laws and regulations across several countries. Your duties are wide-ranging and will cover everything from keeping up-to-date on relevant labor market and employment legislation in the countries where the company operates, to drafting and implementing compliance policies and procedures, managing the onboarding of new employees and handling employee enquiries. In this role, you will report directly to the company's Finance Manager, with whom you will also work closely. Your tasks will include:

Ensure compliance with labor market and employment legislation in the countries where the company operates.
Develop, implement and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
Ensure correct implementation of the group's compliance policies as Local Compliance Officer.
Carry out compliance audits and identify and deal with potential problem areas.
Ensure a smooth transfer of employees between locations.
Manage employee performance and evaluations.
Administer payroll and distribution programs.
Develop and maintain HR systems and employee records.
Develop recruitment strategies
Management of recruitment and onboarding processes
Identify training and development needs in collaboration with a Training Specialist.
Assess HR-related risks such as discrimination, harassment and occupational safety and implement risk minimization strategies.
Provide advice and handle employee inquiries and complaints.
