Executive Chef - Santorini

Tresor Hospitality, one of the leading Management and Consulting companies in Greece, on behalf of a new hotel on the island of Santorini is looking for: Executive Chef Basic mission: Continuous improvement of the quality of the items provided by the kitchen department in the departments of his responsibility with controlled operating costs, adoption of new culinary trends and safety of the food produced. Should possess excellent leadership and manage human resources in the best possible and efficient manner. Required qualifications - skills: Education: Culinary Arts School graduate. Previous experience: 3-5 years as a Chef in 5* Hotels. Menu Creation: Ability to design and develop different menus per outlet. Raw Materials and Consumables Sourcing: Experience in sourcing, evaluating and sourcing raw materials and consumables, ensuring quality and best price. Cost Control: Skills in costing dishes and monitoring costs of raw materials and consumables. Ongoing communication with service departments to diagnose and change menus where and when required to meet revenue/cost goals Staff Support and Evaluation: Collaborate with HR in finding and evaluating personnel, ensuring candidates meet department requirements and specifications. Staff Management and Training: Experience in staff management and training, with the aim of improving team performance and collaboration in the kitchen. HACCP Knowledge: Good understanding of HACCP procedures. Monthly inventory: Control and recording of raw materials and consumables. Problem Management: Ability to anticipate and manage challenges. Hands-on approach: Active by participating in daily processes. Language: Good command of English.
