Job Description

Juliane Marie Center Are you interested in communities for men and how we get vulnerable groups included in these? Are you passionate about creating knowledge and methods to help even more men out into the communities? Do you have experience of working with volunteers, boards and association life? Do you have knowledge of or an interest in working with well-being and health-promoting communities? Do you want to work in an NGO that creates new knowledge and concrete activities to improve men's health? Then the position as community consultant in Forum for Mænds Sundhed might be something for you. You are part of the collective working community in Forum for Mænds Sundhed, where we elevate the work across projects and initiatives. The position will also require independent task solving and initiative. You must therefore both work independently and be in close dialogue with the Forum for Men's Health management, team and partners; we help each other, so an outreach and committed approach is necessary. Among other things, the tasks consist of: Ensure ongoing development of Men's Meeting Places in Denmark Create contact with new partners (municipal, civil society actors, etc.) Create and initiate new Men's Meeting Places throughout the country Hold network meetings for Men's Meeting Places at regional level Fundraise new funds for development projects in Men's Meeting Places Provide website support (WordPress), as well as take care of other communication and dissemination tasks We emphasizes that you: have an interest in men's health and men's communities have experience of working with volunteers and communities (possibly with people in vulnerable situations) have experience of working with network activities – including planning and execution of events are open to collaboration and can run processes independently and take own initiatives get things done and create results have experience in written communication and articulate yourself clearly and vividly in writing and in speech have a positive view of work and are flexible and open-minded engage in close collaboration with colleagues to find solutions to major problems You are employed at Forum for Men's Health, with secretariat in Copenhagen. We offer flexible working conditions and the formal employment will be at Rigshospitalet, which houses the Forum for Men's Health. The position starts on 1 June 2025 and is for 1 year, with the possibility of extension. Application deadline is 10 April 2025. Interviews take place on 25 April and 28 April, call in week 17. Driving license and access to a car is an advantage. Salary and employment are based on the Regional Agreement. Your permanent office space will be at the office in Copenhagen. Travel activity must be expected in connection with the work. It is therefore a prerequisite for employment that you have a blank child certificate. The center obtains the child's certificate from the National Police, after consent from the applicant.
