Brugsen in Stevnstrup
Stevnstrup is a small town in East Jutland with over 3,000 inhabitants, located between Randers and Langå. Here, in super beautiful surroundings of forest, climbing park, Gudenå and the "Bette Kro", everything breathes peace and idyll.
After several citizens from the town teamed up with Coop Crowdfunding and lent the store money, the store was modernized in 2018. The store was expanded to no less than 600 sq m. and we work hard every day to meet the wishes of local customers. 
 
Ambitions to develop your personal leadership?
As food manager in Brugsen Stevnstrup, you are the distributor's and sous manager's sparring partner and you are involved in all operational decisions in the store. You take the lead with lots of energy, a good mood and dare to show the other employees the way. You thus gain experience with all managerial tasks, which means that you:

Thinks sales, sales and sales and dares to challenge the rest of the store to do the same
takes ownership and commits to achieving the given budget and turnover targets in own departments
has co-responsibility for the practical management of the store
co-responsible for the entire store always appears seasonally up-to-date 
develops and shapes own departments in terms of product range and sales dynamics 

 
The majority of your time is spent among employees and customers in the store. It is important that you get to know our customers so that we can offer a range that meets their needs. Here, there is a largely free framework to exercise true merchantship and help shape the range as well as bring in local goods.
 
Help strengthen the local community
In Brugsen, we play an active role in the local community. In collaboration with the other employees, you create activities in the city and let the store form the framework for e.g. Mardi Gras party, wine tastings, autumn parties etc.
 
Grocery store at your fingertips

You are trained as, for example, a sales assistant
You have at least 3 years of practical retail experience
You have a good understanding of numbers and accounts

 
As a person, you are present and like to talk to people. As a manager, you are dialogue-based and can create results, both in the short and long term. You take the lead, bring new initiatives into play, but are also able to organize everyday life in the store so that you can step into the background and let your employees develop. Most importantly, you equip your employees to grow and together ensure each other's motivation through your shared passion for what you do.
