Do you want to help digitize the Danish defense? We are looking for a new colleague for the Technology Department in the Ministry of Defence's Material and Procurement Agency in Ballerup, where you will have a central role in the development of future defense technology. About us: We work to digitize the battlefield by developing, implementing and operating command and control systems (C2) in close cooperation with the Defense Command. The C2 systems not only support the Army, but also the Home Guard, the National Emergency Management Agency and the Special Forces, where we ensure consistency across security domains. You will be part of a committed department that balances formal and informal management, where you will have a great influence on both your own and the team's development as well as our collaboration across the organisation. About the position: We are looking for a committed and skilled IT Architect / Network Case Manager to strengthen our team within military IT and OT systems. The position is open to both newly qualified and experienced candidates who are passionate about working with advanced technologies and security solutions. You will be part of the Operations and Support section in the Technology department and you will work closely with, among other things, our chief engineer, business architect and IT architect. The C2 systems must work both in a stationary infrastructure and in highly mobile environments on the battlefield. In the highly mobile part, robust systems are used, such as in armored vehicles. The tasks will include, among other things: Development and maintenance of overall architecture for IT and OT systems. Implementation and monitoring of IT and OT solutions. Handling technical topics such as QoS, routing, gateway and cryptography. Preferably experience with dimensioning and installation of network equipment. Administration of Active Directory (AD) and documentation of systems in general. The area will be adapted to your qualifications and interests. We expect the following qualifications: Education from a vocational academy professional bachelor, bachelor or master from the university. No specific field of study is required. Practical experience in IT and OT security is an advantage, but not a requirement. Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving. Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in teams. Additional skills that will be an advantage: Knowledge of ITIL. Insight into the land military domain. Finally, you must be able to obtain TOP SECRET security clearance and maintain this throughout your employment period. Terms of employment: If you are a trained academic, you will be employed according to the academic agreement in force at any time between the Ministry of Finance and academics in the state. In addition, depending on qualifications, it will be possible to negotiate supplements. An employer-funded pension scheme of 17.1% is attached to the position.
