Quality manager - Production for DS Stålkonstruktion A/S

At DS Stålkonstruktion in Hobro, we have a goal to be at the forefront of the green changeover and to show action – on our own behalf, but also on behalf of customers and stakeholders who place new demands on information and data regarding quality. This focus requires professional quality management and that measurable areas can be checked and verified at any time.
On behalf of DS Stålkonstruktion, we are therefore looking for a new employee for the company's QHSE department, namely a quality manager for production. As a quality manager, you will be a central part of a dedicated QHSE team consisting of six employees, each with their own area of ​​responsibility. In the team, you get access to sparring and support from experienced and skilled colleagues, and with direct reference to the technical manager, you are close to the management and the daily decisions in both administration and production.
A role with high professionalism and a broad contact surface
In the position, you will be responsible for ensuring that the production of steel structures meets the applicable quality standards.
Your primary tasks will include:

Overall ensure that production complies with the quality standards according to EN 1090 and ISO 9001, as well as other standards related to EN 1090.
Maintain, set up, document and control initiatives and measures within quality, including taking care of product certifications, support for the welding organization, etc.
Carry out internal audits and handle customer-specific quality requirements.
Physical control and sparring with your colleagues in production.

You will have to run your area of ​​responsibility independently and the role involves both maintenance and development of future initiatives within quality. You will act as a link between production and other departments and will have a broad interface across the organisation. You get your day-to-day work in production and otherwise sit in the office when you have to delve into standards, documentation and the like.
Experience, pragmatism and a solid knowledge of steel structures
We imagine that you have a minimum of 5 years of documented experience with quality management in a manufacturing company, preferably with knowledge of steel structures and the Construction Products Regulation (CPR). You have a relevant technical education such as engineer, production technologist or welding technician. If you have additional training as a welding engineer (IWE) or welding technician (IWT), it will be an advantage.
