Person in charge of fire protection

MT-Komex d.o.o., a renowned company in the field of construction and engineering, is looking for a dedicated person for fire protection. Job Description:

Creation of fire protection projects (fire protection study and main fire protection project) and projects of special fire protection systems as well as projects of technical protection systems.

Teamwork with other professions and coordination from the conceptual solution to the project of the constructed object as well as finding the best solutions in accordance with the development of new technology (eg battery system).

Creating, updating and implementing a fire safety plan, including the installation of necessary signs and firefighting equipment.

Monitoring and ensuring compliance with legal regulations, standards and internal policies in the field of fire protection.

Cooperation with external institutions, inspection bodies and experts in connection with the fulfillment of legal obligations.

Control of the correctness and regular maintenance of equipment, machines and installations that affect fire protection.

Monitoring of new laws, regulations and technological solutions in the field of fire protection, and implementation of relevant improvements.

Work in the office with occasional site visits (as needed) together with the engineers leading the projects.         

Communication with supervision, the investor, the MUP and other participants in the project.

Requirements for applicants:

VSS/VŠS of technical, legal or related direction.

Certificate/license of having passed the exam for the performance of safety and health at work (mandatory).

Minimum of 3 years of work experience in similar jobs.

Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the field of occupational health and safety and fire protection.

Developed communication and organizational skills.

Required licenses: A, B1 and B2 (preferable and other B licenses), LT3 (preferable LT1 and LT2).
