Domes of Corfu We are currently hiring for the 5* hotel based in Corfu. Pastry Cook/Pastry Chef Some of the Responsibilities: Prepare a wide variety of pastry items following traditional and modern recipes Create new and exciting desserts to refresh our menus and attract customer interest Decorate desserts, using different types of icing, toppings, etc. to ensure a beautiful and impressive appearance Monitor inventory of basic ingredients such as flour, sugar, etc. and placing the appropriate orders within budget Controlling the quality of materials, condition of equipment and appliances used in preparation Maintaining a clean and orderly post and complying with health and safety standards Requirements Useful to have: Culinary school graduate At least 2 years' experience in à la carte restaurants or 5* hotels Knowledge and adherence to hygiene and safety procedures Good command of the English language What you will bring with you: Adaptability to the work environment Offer and availability of high standard services Spirit of teamwork and cooperation Neat appearance, cleanliness Professionalism Benefits We offer: Salary package commensurate with qualifications Growth opportunities within a constantly developing work environment Excellent work environment Food, accommodation for non-residents in the area Continuous training Domes Resorts offers equal opportunities to everyone and is against discrimination.
