For the Guards Hussar Regiment, it is also an exciting and challenging task to escort and provide orders of honor for Her Majesty the Queen when this is desired. The mounted ceremonial task is primarily handled by the Horse Squadron and its 75 horses, but personnel from the three hussar battalions also have the opportunity to be deployed in connection with the regiment's Court Service. The hussar today is thus faced with a number of exciting tasks; both in the form of national and international service, which requires a high level of education, as well as court service, which also makes high demands on professionalism, commitment and thoroughness.
