Project Planner

The position of the Project Planner was mainly established to perform a role dedicated to planning and monitoring multiple projects from beginning to end. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing schedules and resources, while making sure the project remains on track. Moreover, the successful candidate will project risks to help mitigate potential problems. Responsibilities Project Planning Project Plan mapping for both tender and execution phases Prepare short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members Monitor and analyze project effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative tools Recommend and implement modifications to improve effectiveness and attain project milestones Follow up with Project Management and Operations Team to ensure project continuity and completeness Monitor schedule’s critical path and provide serious deviations warnings hindering project results Implement changes of work scope in the project plan Update existing project plans based on DPRs Keep track of all DPRs analyses including Progress Rates, Operational Durations, Preparatory activities, Contingencies Develop Master Plan of current projects’ progress and updates Create database with all reasons of project delay and keep track per project task time extensions for future reference Prepare and present regular internal and external project reports for management Participate in the evaluation and analysis of schedule-wise risks and issues compromising project results and develop plans to mitigate them Lead development of baseline schedule and support Project Manager (PM) in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) Gather actual data, update project schedule, and develop reliable schedule forecast with support from project team Possibilities of integrating sub-schedules (Subcontractors, Suppliers) in the Project Schedule Communicate with potential subcontractors – suppliers for schedule tracking purposes Communicate with client’s planner for scheduling purposes Participate in Weekly Project Progress Meetings (in Greece or abroad) Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field. Master in Project Management Field will be considered a plus. Proficient user of Planning Software is a prerequisite (MS Project and/or Primavera). Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite is a prerequisite. Proficient knowledge of English, orally and written. Good understanding of heavy machinery and its capabilities will be considered a plus. Previous experience in construction industry will be considered a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Power Automation tools, Programming Languages (i.e. SQL), PWA, Sharepoint will be considered a plus. Knowledge of other Project/Work Management Software (e.g. Wrike) will be considered a plus. CAPM, PMP or similar certification will be considered a plus. Experience 2-3 years’ experience in Project Planning/Engineering. Other working experience in similar positions.
