QA/QC Engineer

Actionline is currently seeking on behalf of its client a multinational construction company for a QA/QC Engineer, to build the Riviera Tower in Ellinikon, Greece. This iconic structure, with 50 storeys and a height of 200m, will stand as the highest building in Greece. The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) team in the Riviera Tower construction project. The QA/QC Engineer will assist in monitoring and inspecting the construction processes and ensuring that they adhere to project specifications, codes, and standards. The QA/QC Engineer will report directly to the QA/QC Manager. Responsibilities: Assist the QA/QC Manager in developing and implementing the project-specific QA/QC plan. Assist in the development and review of construction procedures, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations. Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders. Assist in conducting quality control inspections and audits of the construction work to ensure compliance with project specifications. Document and report any non-conformances or deficiencies to the QA/QC Manager and coordinate corrective actions. Assist in maintaining the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and ensuring its proper implementation. Participate in project meetings and assist in the preparation of meeting minutes and reports. Ensure that all testing and inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained according to project requirements. Assist in the preparation and review of final turnover documentation. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering. Excellent command of Greek and English is a must. Minimum of 1 years of experience in QA/QC in the construction industry or relevant field. Knowledge of construction codes and standards, as well as relevant regulations. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document deficiencies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good to know: The QA/QC Engineer will work primarily on the construction site, which may include exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and noise. Jobseeker.gr
