Lynx is working with a leading aviation services company to recruit for aSales Engineerto join their dynamic MRO Sales Team.The RoleWorking within their aircraft maintenance organisation, you'll play a crucial role in developing technical proposals and building strong customer relationships. This position offers hybrid working arrangements from either their Bournemouth or Farnborough location.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and interpret complex aviation documentation including AMMs, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness DirectivesPrepare detailed cost estimates and develop competitive, customer-specific proposalsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of solutionsResearch market trends, including parts pricing and competitor offeringsLiaise with customers throughout the Front End planning processMaintain sales and quoting databasesAttend client meetings and industry events (occasional travel required)Required Skills & ExperienceStrong technical background in aviation with experience interpreting maintenance documentationProven experience in aviation sales or engineeringExcellent analytical skills, particularly in cost estimationStrong communication abilities and relationship-building skillsDetail-oriented with capability to manage multiple projectsExperience with aviation software systems (preferred)Package & BenefitsSalary up to £50k (potentially higher for exceptional candidates)Competitive pension schemeComprehensive healthcare packageLife assuranceIncome protectionTravel insuranceFree parkingProfessional development supportPaid volunteering daysLocation & Working ArrangementsBased in either Bournemouth or FarnboroughHybrid working availableTravel expenses covered for required inter-site visitsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing aviation services business that offers genuine career progression opportunities in a dynamic environment.NB: Travel to Bournemouth will be required once per week if you are based at Farnborough.
