Their technology focuses on recovering and rubber materials through advanced techniques. As part of continued growth, they're seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the small engineering team.The company are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of high-pressure jetting safety systems. You'll be responsible for taking projects from concept through to operational validation, working with both internal teams and external partners.Key Responsibilities:Lead the mechanical design of high-pressure processing systems including safety enclosuresDevelop comprehensive engineering drawings and documentationConduct engineering calculations and analysis for safety-critical systemsCreate detailed designs using CAD (SolidWorks)Manage projects from conception to completionCollaborate with cross-functional teams and external partnersEnsure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulationsRequirements:Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineSignificant experience in designing pressure vessels or similar safety-critical systemsStrong background in industrial safety systems and regulatory complianceProficient with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)Experience with ASME, BS, or similar pressure vessel codesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience managing complex technical projectsChartered Engineer status preferredBenefits:Competitive salaryPension schemePrivate Healthcare25 days holiday + bank holidaysProfessional development supportFlexible working arrangementsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company developing innovative sustainable technologies.If you have experience with high-pressure systems and safety-critical design, we'd love to hear from you.
