Job Description
Are you passionate about the emergency specialty and do you have both specialist training in emergency nursing as well as a master's or master's degree? If you want to contribute to shaping professional development, quality and strategy in a dynamic emergency department - then perhaps you are the one we are looking for as our new specialist nurse.
We are looking for a specialist nurse for a permanent position of 37 hours per week. You will play a central role in the department's strategic and professional development and become an important sparring partner for both management and clinicians. You refer to the head nurse in the Red Zone.
About the position
As specialist nurse, your tasks will include be to:
Ensure implementation and anchoring of the latest evidence-based practice in the acute specialisation
Develop and coordinate professional strategies in collaboration with department management
Handle training, competence development and introduction of new staff
Work with quality assurance and systematic follow-up of professional efforts
Participate in and run development projects, research initiatives and interdisciplinary collaboration
Contribute actively to the implementation and operation of practical scenario training and simulation
Be a visible role model and a professional capacity in daily practice
Contribute to the alignment and updating of instructions and clinical guidelines
The position involves both clinical work and administrative tasks, where the distribution is agreed individually. We offer flexible shift planning with possible participation in weekend shift every 4 weeks.
About you
We expect you to:
Is a trained nurse with Danish authorization
Has completed specialist training in emergency nursing
Has a relevant master's or master's degree in health, management or pedagogy
Has solid clinical experience from the emergency area - preferably 3-5 years' experience
Has strong communication skills and thrives in a collaborative role
Is reflective, analytical and structured
Has the ability and desire to inspire, motivate and develop colleagues and teams
Has good IT skills and preferably experience with the Health Platform

About the department
Slagelse Emergency Department is a modern and innovative department with approx. 70,000 acute patient procedures annually. We are physically located in a newly built emergency center from 2013 with state-of-the-art facilities. The department is located on the ground floor with 17 beds, 2 trauma rooms and an emergency room.
