Brugsen in Flakkebjerg is an independent utility association located in a small village with approx. 450 inhabitants surrounded by independent school, daycare, after-school, church, assembly hall, experimental station and a large catchment area.
The store is very visible in the streetscape, which is why ongoing work is being done to optimize the store in relation to creating the best environment for customers as well as employees and maintaining/expanding events with the city's other associations. There is also an OK tank system attached.
Become our new committed utility distributor
In the job as distributor, you will have management responsibility for 24 employees as well as responsibility for the store's operation, which includes implies that you:
Responsible for budget, results and other administrative tasks.
Ensure an attractive workplace where your employees continuously develop through coaching and training.
Develops the store and shapes the range.
The majority of your time is spent among employees and customers in the store, as you participate in the daily tasks. It is important that you get to know our customers so that we can offer a range that meets their needs. Here, there is a largely free framework for practicing real commerce.
In addition, you are in charge of creating good unity among the employees, you develop and equip them to take responsibility, and involve them in the operation.
Help strengthen the local community
As a distributor, you are an active player in the local community. In close cooperation with the board, you get involved in creating activities in the city, among other things In collaboration with the Community Council and let the store form the framework for several of the city's events, e.g. Mardi Gras, Halloween and Christmas tree lighting.
The person we are looking for must have the following skills:
You have management experience from the retail industry
You work with operational and administrative tasks
You have a good understanding of numbers and accounts
You are IT knowledgeable and have good experience with social media
You are structured and create good team spirit
You manage to secure the future, have an overview and create a shop ready for sale every day of the week
You possess good business acumen and can create results both on the top and bottom line
You are an expert in customer service
As a person, you are primarily outgoing and you like to talk to people. As a leader, you have influence and can ensure results. You take the lead, bring new initiatives into play and are skilled at motivating your employees through your passion for what you do.
