Job Description

Would you like the overall responsibility for developing and strengthening the Tax Agency's external communication? Then you might be the one we're looking for. Communication to and including Danish taxpayers is a core task of the Tax Agency. It is about making it easy and simple to pay the correct tax on time. As deputy director of a new department, External Communication, you will have a cross-cutting responsibility in the development, organization and prioritization of the Tax Agency's communication to both citizens and companies. The responsibility covers across a number of communication channels such as campaigns, letters, web and social media. About the Citizen and Business Contact area in the Tax Agency covers a number of cross-cutting tasks within both collection, guidance and communication. The specialist area consists of five departments, which together provide a unique opportunity to realize the synergies within the collection and guidance area. As Deputy Director of the new External Communications department, you must, together with five personnel managers, ensure motivation, high well-being and good performance among the department's almost 90 employees, and you will report to the subject director for Citizen and Business Contact. When you join, the communication area will be separated into an independent deputy director's area to further strengthen the Tax Agency's external communication. You will therefore be responsible for establishing a new independent communications department divided into five units: Campaigns and projects Digital development, data and effect Letters, broadcasts and language SoMe and graphic design Stakeholders and web The department thus works i.a. with development and implementation of campaigns, mass communication and development of skat.dk, which is one of the most central websites in Denmark, as well as graphic design, SoMe, digitization and data. The communication area is undergoing strategic development, and includes a cross-cutting responsibility to ensure the continued development of the Tax Agency's communication to both citizens and companies in Denmark, so that it is proactive, relevant and trust-building at all times. You will be responsible for further developing and co-thinking the Swedish Tax Agency's mass communication across channels. Communication is a core task at the Tax Agency and cuts across many disciplines and areas of professional responsibility. The new department has a particularly close collaboration with the deputy director's area for guidance, but also with the other professional areas in the Tax Agency and broadly throughout the entire Tax Administration - it is therefore crucial that you, as deputy director, can manage this transversal cooperation obligation by, on the one hand, inviting the right stakeholders into the decisions, but at the same time also ultimately executing on your responsibility as responsible for external communication. Against this background, we particularly expect you to succeed in: Building the department's strategic focus and role with a focus on collaboration in relation to the rest of the department and the agency. Ensure a strategic prioritization of the Tax Agency's external communication and thus create the framework for a more coherent and expanded strategic direction for communication to citizens and businesses, which is the basis for regulatory compliance, effective collection, trust and legitimacy for the Tax Administration. Ensure an efficient use of the current resources in the area of ​​communication with clearer professional interfaces and a clear distribution of responsibilities.
