Job Description

DTU is looking for a colleague for the Department of Communication and Media who will help support and develop DTU's digital content production. You will participate in the construction of new websites for institutes and research groups as well as development and editing of DTU's intranet. We are responsible for content production, IA, UX, SEO and data analysis - as well as specification and testing of new functions and content areas. 
The job

You will become part of the Office for Web and Visual Identity. We are responsible for a web platform with many hundreds of websites, which functions as a central infrastructure for internal and external communication at the university. We are responsible for the construction of all types of web content, from simple one-pagers to complex sites with thousands of pages. It is all based on a Sitecore-based CMS and is supplemented by various third-party tools for special functions. In addition to the web work, the office is also responsible for the day-to-day management of DTU's design line, where we solve design tasks and create template solutions for the university's employees and students. 
Our expectations for you

We are looking for a structured and professionally well-grounded colleague who comes all the way around the digital content and who can both edit and formulate targeted texts. It all happens in collaboration with good colleagues both in the office, in the department and at the rest of DTU. We are open to different skills and competencies, and expect you to contribute to the following areas: 
create and maintain content that supports the branding of DTU
write and edit texts in both Danish and English
work with information architecture and user experience
contribute to the reconstruction and construction of different site types
help develop guides and online courses 
participate in daily support and maintenance across the platform
use statistics and user data to optimize the content
ensure that the tonality and visual expression are consistent
collaboration with researchers, teachers and administrative staff
translate professional specialist knowledge to the needs of different target groups

As a web editor at DTU, you have a large contact surface, so you must be able to thrive in collaborating with many colleagues with different expertise. We imagine that you either have an academic or journalistic education and that you have several years of experience with web editing and development of digital content.

Salary and terms of employment
 

Salary and employment conditions according to the collective agreement for academics in the state or the collective agreement for journalists in the service of the state.
The position is for 37 hours.
Place of work is DTU Lyngby Campus. There may also be working days at DTU's other locations. In connection with events, there will be work outside of normal. working time.
