We are looking for a bioanalyst for a summer holiday temporary position at Aasiaat hospital from 10 June to 31 July 2025. There will be one of our permanent employees in the laboratory throughout the period, so you will be trained and have supervision / sparring opportunities throughout the period. Region Disko is located in Northwest Greenland, north of the Arctic Circle. The health care system consists of the hospital in Aasiaat, the health centers in Qasigiannguit and Qeqertarsuaq, the nursing station in Kangaatsiaq and rural health clinics in the 7 settlements. In Aasiaat town there are approx. 3,100 inhabitants, and in the entire region there are approx. 6,800 inhabitants. We offer: At the hospital in Aasiaat there is a well-functioning laboratory that handles a large number of samples in most specialties Some samples are analyzed on site, other samples are sent to Queen Ingrid's Hospital in Nuuk, or to Denmark (RH, SSI or Aalborg) At the hospital in Aasiaat there has been a permanent bioanalyst for the past 7 years, who will therefore be a good sparring partner. At the health centers the laboratory function is handled on a daily basis by nurses and assistants, and there is a need for 1-2 annual visits for quality assurance and competence development.
