We are looking for a nurse or occupational therapist who is passionate about treating people with non-psychotic disorders. We have been upgraded and are therefore looking for a nurse or occupational therapist for our outpatient clinic who will help qualify our new psychiatric treatment for people with non-psychotic disorders, including affective disorders, anxiety disorders and personality disorders. The treatment includes manualized group courses based on cognitive behavioral therapy (KAT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DAT). About the position You will be part of a team consisting of a psychiatrist, social worker, occupational therapists, nurses, recovery mentors and psychologists. You will function as a primary care provider and will work based on the FACT model. The core task is to offer psychiatric treatment to people with a low level of functioning who may occasionally need intensive follow-up. The patient's treatment can consist of both CAT/DAT course, medication adjustment, possible investigation, focus on everyday life, activities and weekly structure, psychoeducation and anxiety exposure, drawing up a sensory profile and testing aids. In addition, our social worker has an important role in establishing contact with our municipal partners and our recovery mentor offers talks to the patients with a focus on personal recovery. Much of primary care work is conversational and relationship-based - and this is where your professionalism comes into play. There is ample opportunity for professional discussions, both mono- and interdisciplinary, and we receive external supervision every two weeks. In your role, there is also a coordinating function in relation to the interdisciplinary treatment efforts, relevant offers such as research projects and other collaboration partners, including relatives. What does a typical day look like? Over the course of a day, you hold outpatient interviews with approx. 6 patients or have group treatment. It is different whether they come into the house, whether you make a home visit, or visit them if they are hospitalized. It is about what makes sense for the patient. Depending on whether you are a nurse or an occupational therapist, your tasks will include be: Primary care provider for approx. 25 patients To hold outpatient interviews in the house, in the patient's home or where else it makes sense To hold group treatment based on manual DAT/CAT Medicine administration if you are a nurse Documentation Teaching patients, relatives, students and possibly colleagues Out-of-doors function as part of F-ACT Participating in quality and improvement work Preparing sensory profiles if you are an occupational therapist Guiding and testing the use of weight products and applying for this if you are an occupational therapist It doesn't matter if you are trained nurse or occupational therapist, you have a great influence on the organization of your own work. It will therefore be an advantage to be structured. About us We are a psychiatric outpatient clinic on Møntmestervej consisting of 3 teams, which will soon be moving to new, nice premises on Lygten in Copenhagen's Northwest quarter together with another psychiatric outpatient clinic. [phone removed] for an in-depth and non-binding chat. Salary and terms of employment The position is a full-time position of 37 hours per week on average, starting on 1 June 2025. As an occupational therapist, you are employed in accordance with the collective agreement for non-executive occupational therapists, physiotherapists and midwives. During your employment, you are covered by the working time agreement concluded between the Regions' Wage and Tariff Board and the Occupational Therapist Association. As a nurse, you are employed in accordance with the collective agreement for non-executive staff in the area of the Health Cartel. During your employment, you are covered by the labor law applicable at all times
fixed-term agreement concluded between the Regions' Salary and Tariff Board and the Danish Nursing Council. The outpatient clinic currently has open Monday to Friday at [phone removed]. Your working hours will therefore primarily lie within this period. As a newly employed nurse, you will also be attached to a specific intensive 24-hour unit, where you will be part of the on-call work on Saturday and Sunday every 6 weeks. It will basically be on one of our intensive sections. We will of course make sure you dress well for the task. This takes place in the form of an individual introduction programme, knowledge sharing and sparring with colleagues. And then it takes place in the form of continuous competence development based on your experiences and needs.
