Job Description

Danish School Association for South Schleswig e.V. looking for a Psychologist at PPR per 1 May 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is for 37 weekly hours. The position is limited to [phone removed], with the possibility of extension, as it is a temporary position.
We are looking for a psychologist for early intervention and follow-up, in a strong interprofessional team
At PPR, we work actively to create strong interprofessional teams consisting of psychologists and consultants at the daycare and school area. You will therefore become part of the development process, which is based on the core service: creating the best framework, opportunities and conditions for children and young people with special challenges and special educational needs.
In the PPR team, we work to create the best starting point for learning through well-being and development - for children and their families. The team around the child consists of both internal and external professionals, and you will become a close collaboration partner and link in the work around early intervention and follow-up of measures initiated.
Well-being and communities There is a wide range of tasks, so a prerequisite for success is that you are able to work independently, solution-oriented and structured. You will contribute to developing and supporting the children's learning, well-being and development through developing communities. Some of your primary areas of responsibility and tasks you will face in everyday life will be to:

Conduct psychological examination and testing.
Communicate survey results to parents and professionals
Recommend concrete tools and interdisciplinary referrals
Advice and guidance for employees in the Skoleforeningen's day care and schools.
Sparring and advice to promote an inclusive practice
Follow up and evaluate action plans and courses in collaboration with schools and daycare services.
Participate in interprofessional collaboration around the individual children and students
Contribute to constructive parental cooperation

It is important that you can bring the interprofessional aspect into play in a way that benefits the child and the family. That is that you involve relevant partners, both internally and externally, at the right time in the process. Collaboration with families is a large and important part of the task, so you must be able to translate results and observations into practical language. Participation in the organizational and development work in a politically led organization is a natural part of the task.
You are a trained psychologist: cand.psych., cand. ped. psych. or dipl. Psych. You must be able to communicate in both Danish and German, as there is ongoing collaboration with professionals from minority institutions and German administrative areas. It is a prerequisite that you have a driving license and are willing to use your own car.
We work holistically and close to practice We work primarily from a systemic framework of understanding - based on the child's perspective. We emphasize being available, flexible and acting quickly. Our culture is learning and curious with room for good humor and a positive approach. We have an openness and strive for a high professional level in our task solving. By that we mean that you are never alone with a challenge – there are always colleagues ready to help you – regardless of professional background. As a workplace, we focus on ongoing upskilling both interdisciplinary and monodisciplinary.
Do you want to be our colleague? Then we would really like to hear from you. You can contact the acting manager at PPR, Lise Olsen, or deputy manager Tanja Bøgen Jensen for further information on [phone removed]. Employment: Full time
Start of employment:  May 1, 2025 or soon thereafter
The position is a temporary temporary position in the period [phone removed] - [phone removed], with the possibility of extension
The applications must be received by the School Association no later than 1 April 2025, at 08:00. Applications with relevant attachments and indication of position and job number (7822) should be sent to [email protected]
Job interviews will take place on 2 and 3 April 2025.
