We are looking for a dedicated social and health assistant on day shift for our cozy Hvalsø Nursing Home.
About the position:
We offer permanent employment as a social and healthcare assistant, preferably 37 hours a week
(or a number of hours that suits you).
The working hours will be arranged according to your needs, with a focus on creating a balance between work life and private life.
Weekend shift every 2nd weekend (even weeks).
The position is in mixed day/evening shifts
Your tasks

Responsibility for your citizens in close collaboration with the nurses.
(Contact person scheme).
Nursing tasks, including medication handling, ward rounds, wound care, etc.
You are part of an interdisciplinary collaboration with e.g. social and health workers, nurses, nutrition assistants and general practitioners.
Participation in activities and social interaction with the residents as a natural part of your working day.
Close dialogue with citizens and relatives in e.g. disease and treatment course
Daily documentation
Co-responsibility for our students as a training supervisor
(if you do not already have the training, we offer the option of this).

Nexus care and documentation system.
Work tools such as tablets and smartphones.
Experience from a nursing home or home care
Interest in psychiatry, dementia, palliation and emergency nursing.

About you:
We expect you to be a trained social and health assistant, preferably with experience in the field of the elderly, a desire to work digitally and good written and spoken Danish.
As a person, you are empathetic, have a natural interest in people, and you like working with elderly and disabled citizens. In addition, we expect you to:

Takes responsibility and can work independently
Is committed both professionally and socially.
Thrives in an everyday life with great variety.
Maintains an overview in a sometimes hectic everyday life with several unforeseen situations.
Is a team player who contributes to a good working environment with cooperation and dialogue at the centre.

Salary: Salary is determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and local salary formation.
