Communications officer for DTU with a focus on data - Dept. for Communication and Media

We are looking for an ambitious and collaborative colleague for DTU's office for student recruitment. A colleague who must help develop communication about DTU's programs and study environment, and in particular have responsibility for the knowledge and data base we use in the recruitment efforts for DTU's programs.

You will be part of the Department for Communication and Media, which is responsible for DTU's communication, design line, website and intranet. In addition, we are responsible for DTU's internal newsletter, social media, the profile magazine Dynamo and information activities aimed at potential students. Our tone of business and collaboration is characterized by trust and respect, and you will have a large contact surface with skilled and dedicated colleagues throughout the department. We organize our work flexibly in terms of working time and location in order to maintain a good balance between private life and an ambitious working life. 
The job 

You will be part of the Student Recruitment Office, which together carries out a wide range of tasks - e.g. communication about DTU's educational opportunities throughout the country, the digital education programs and the professional master's programmes. In the job, you will, for example, have to contribute to the planning and execution of events, the preparation of educational information and campaigns, as well as the development of offers for high school students.     

In the office, we work with the collection of knowledge and data, which we use in the development of our recruitment activities. Including use of qualitative and quantitative methods and analysis and research reports. We see it as a success criterion that knowledge is used, shared and discussed for the benefit of our activities. 
The Office for Student Recruitment is part of DTU's Department for Communication and Media. The office is responsible for recruitment to DTU's degree programs and for DTU's strategic video productions. We have a strong focus on insight-based work and on supporting diversity, equality and inclusion in our work.

have a relevant educational background and preferably experience from a similar position
is a good project manager who has an overview and is good at creating momentum
has knowledge of and experience with the collection and use of knowledge, including quantitative and qualitative data 
have an understanding of how to systematise, share and disseminate knowledge, so that it becomes a natural part of the development of new activities and a common knowledge base. 
is a good communicator who can analyze a communication situation and make a plan accordingly
has insight into the target groups for DTU's programmes 
has good collaboration skills and is good at building and maintaining relationships
can communicate clearly in writing and speak in both Danish and English
is independent, responsible and structured
thrives on development tasks that you yourself help to define
has an interest in and experience with communication and events targeted at young people

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the collective agreement for academics in the state or other relevant collective agreement.
The position is for 37 hours.
Place of work is DTU Lyngby Campus. There may also be working days at DTU's other locations. In connection with events, there will be work outside of normal. working time.
