Sustainable solutions in collaboration In the Office for Economics, we play a central and cross-cutting role in the ministry, because we handle economic analyzes and impact calculations of legislative proposals and reforms, coordination and preparation of the Finance Act in the ministerial area, as well as budgeting and management of the ministerial area's total budget of approx. 300 billion The task has an impact on many people and affects all phases of our working life. Your everyday life as an office manager As an office manager, you have to help create the framework for a strong financial professional environment. You must translate overall strategic goals into concrete efforts and results and translate ideas and political visions into professionally sound decision-making bases. In everyday life, you must be a sparring partner for your employees and colleagues and help ensure high quality in the task solution. It is important that you contribute to maintaining and developing good working relationships characterized by mutual respect. You do this by leading by example, whether it is cooperation with the other offices in the department, the group's units, other ministries or our other partners. As an office manager, you will have personnel management for approx. 11 employees, and you must help create an everyday life where the employees thrive and an environment where the employees are challenged and developed. About us in the Office of Economics You will be part of a professionally exciting office with 30 employees and a management team which, in addition to you, consists of an office manager and a deputy manager. We have a good team and we help each other. We are an office where we give each other a pat on the back for everyday small successes and celebrate the big results. The office is organizationally anchored in Finance and Group, which also consists of Group Management, Office for Digitization and Information Security and Group HR. Here you become part of a larger management group. Become our new colleague You will succeed best in the role if you possess the following competencies and skills: have a master's degree in science and politics, a master's degree in economics/politics or similar have solid experience from Slotsholmen and insight into cross-cutting decision-making processes have an economics background and preferably knowledge of the employment field are a team player who wants to contribute to the community and can create good relationships have management experience driven by creating results through an appreciative and motivating management style. We expect you as a person to be ambitious, innovative and development-oriented. Your tasks often have to be solved together with others and across several units, so it is important that your collaboration skills are good. You must be able to manage a large variety of tasks. Salary and terms of employment The position is a full-time position. We would like you to start on 1 June 2025. You will be employed according to the framework agreement on the contract employment of managers in the state with remuneration in salary group 1 (salary range 37). As a rule, employment is on an annual basis for a 5-year period. There is an opportunity to negotiate a qualification supplement. If you are already a civil servant, employment will be possible as a civil servant. It is a prerequisite for employment that you can be security cleared and subsequently maintain the security clearance throughout your employment period. We look forward to hearing from you!
