Head of Development, Strategy & Cooperation in the Center for Well-Being & Social Effort

A rare position is available Center for Well-Being & Social Effort is an ambitious and diverse center that embraces the entire social area for children, families and adults. We have a really exciting full-time position available from 1 May, where you, with direct reference to the center manager, will be the leader of the independent cross-functional consulting unit. The unit has a central role as supporting and developing the cohesion between the centre's approximately 1100 employees. three years, during which our strategy #vierfælles has become well established, as a living strategy where the task sets the team. And everything we work with and develop is for the benefit of the core task. We meet the citizens "at eye level" and we create the best conditions for solving the core task in broad professional communities, so that the citizens are helped quickly, holistically and with coherence in the efforts. The cross-cutting consulting unit - Development, Strategy & Collaboration You will be in charge of the cross-cutting consulting unit called Development, Strategy & Collaboration, where you will have personnel responsibility for min. 10 skilled, committed and self-driven colleagues, including chief consultants, process and development consultants, project managers, system administrators, digitization consultants and a management consultant. What takes up most of your everyday life is the daily sparring with the employees, collaboration with the center manager, management colleagues and the consultancy unit on everything from planning strategy workshops for the centre's many disciplines, participation in working groups for cross-cutting projects and implementation of organizational changes.  It is therefore important that you have an eye for professionalism, cohesiveness and job satisfaction - and that you can support a collaborative practice where the employees' various skills are put into play. We are looking for a manager who: Has relevant higher education, preferably academic in the social or social sciences Has at least one year of management experience in a politically controlled organization Has management training at a minimum diploma level or is determined to take a management training as soon as possible Has strong relational and communication skills - both written and verbal Has the ability to create companionship and lead with humility, recognition and inclusiveness Has experience working across organizations and disciplines Is a team player who insists on collaboration through insight, motivation and the involvement of communities Has experience in strategic development and facilitation of processes Can balance operations, development and innovation Has experience in project management and strategic prioritization of development efforts Has an interest in working with digitalisation, organizational development and simplification of work processes Understands the municipal welfare task, has visions in the field and has an eye for development opportunities. In summary, we are looking for a person who can lead people in an inclusive way, and who is particularly strong in handling being under cross pressure at middle management level. You must be able to navigate many different forums with an eye to the cross-cutting and you must be able to create the framework for a constructive and developing collaboration. e other seven level 3 managers in the Center for Well-Being & Social Effort.
