We will start on 1 August with the very first students - so you will be involved in shaping, describing and developing the offer right from the "first sod". The special education and treatment offer is a vetted offer (grades 7-10) which is aimed at young people who need a particularly adapted everyday school life in close, coordinated cooperation with family, PPR, family therapist, support/contact person and other important actors in the young person's life. The aim is through this close collaboration that the efforts both for school and home for the young person and for the family become coherent, manageable and, not least, make sense. The special education and treatment offer will have a fixed base at Parkvænget in Vordingborg. Here we are located close to the rest of our inspected offers as well as the 10th grade, so that there are good collaboration opportunities for employees - and good opportunities for the young people in relation to forming new friendships - and also receiving parts of the teaching across the board, when it makes sense. The target group for the new special education and treatment offer are target groups we already know in the Junior High School from our full-time education offer "Young people at the top" and from the offer "Præstegårdsvej". These young people are known to have a distinct psychological vulnerability based on psychiatric problems such as anxiety, depression, dissatisfaction and violent self-harm, often with hospitalization in psychiatry. It can also be young people with a late diagnosis, primarily in the area of ​​autism, with associated massive strain problems that have led to hospitalization in psychiatry and/or a massive absence from school and all other activities. The offer will be standardized to approx. 10 students. This number will develop over time as we develop the offer together and become sharp at creating an everyday life and cross-functional collaboration, where we can lift a great many tasks into the specialized teaching and treatment field, with and around the young person.
