Job Description
Do you have a special look for the students who occasionally need a different way to learn? Are you passionate about creating well-being, development and strong relationships? And do you have a distinct interest in bringing the specialized into the general? Then it might just be you that we are looking for as our new colleague. At Fløng Skole, you will have the opportunity to make a concrete difference for students who need structure, predictability and recognizability in their everyday school life. You will be a key player in creating learning situations that strengthen students' self-esteem, social communication and professional knowledge. At the same time, you become part of a school that values community, humor and a close collaboration between school, after-school and club. As a resource person at Fløng Skole, you are assigned to one class in the entry school, where, in collaboration with the class's other staff, you work closely with a smaller group of children into the larger group of children. You take part in the preparation and teaching as well as evaluation of this and work from a co-teaching approach. You must help define your role and the tasks yourself, and it is therefore important that you are ambitious, have drive and are passionate about bringing the specialized into the general. You can create clear structure and predictability, including visual support and clear guidance within special education. It is an advantage if you have experience with children with diagnoses, and that you have an eye for spotting the individual child's resources and needs. We imagine that you: Are a trained teacher or pedagogue with experience in special pedagogy Passionate about helping students who need strong adult relationships and alternative forms of learning Are strong in collaboration with both teachers and pedagogues as well as external partners such as PPR etc. Are good at communicating at eye level and thrive in a close partnership with parents Have a positive and curious approach to both children, parents and colleagues - and it comes naturally to you to create trusting relationshipsWorks appreciatively, systemically and based on Low arousalFløng School is home to 670 students divided into three general tracks from 0. to 9th grade, recipient classes and an E-track for children with general learning difficulties. We are known for our systemic and appreciative approach, where we meet the children with a belief that they always do their best. With our unique outdoor areas and location in the middle of a scenic area, we actively integrate nature into teaching and create practical learning spaces through project-based learning. We attach great importance to community and traditions and organize, among other things, Autumn party, Halloween, Champions League and Christmas events - all with great support from the parents.
