As a health nurse in Qaqortoq, you will be employed at the regional hospital in Region Kujataa in South Greenland. The hospital has approx. 60 employees. Health care is standardized to 3 health nurses, who perform the function in almost the entire region of Kujataa. The health nurses therefore also have tasks in settlements and health centres, so you have to expect to go on business trips to the other cities/settlements. In the region of Kujataa, in addition to the regional hospital, there are 2 health centers in Nanortalik and Narsaq. There are a total of 12 settlements. There is an interpreter with an administrator function for the health care. The tasks in the health care are versatile and multifaceted. Work is carried out according to the national performance profile. The activities include home visits, consultations at the hospital, health education teaching and consultancy for day care institutions. Children's examinations and vaccinations are carried out in health care in collaboration with the hospital's doctors. In addition, school health care with function tests, health interviews, vaccinations and teaching. The Health Service focuses on early intervention and vulnerable families. Interdisciplinary cooperation has been established with relevant partners in the municipality. Desired qualifications: You have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a health nurse and can work independently. You are used to working with young children and school children.
