Are you passionate about nursing care for people with diabetes and endocrine diseases? Do you want to become part of a committed and specialized team? So maybe this position is for you? At the Department of Kidney and Hormonal Diseases clinic 2134, we are looking for a nurse with an interest in joining our diabetes and endo team. The team consists of nurses, doctors, secretaries, a podiatrist and a dietitian, all of whom work closely together to provide patients with the best treatment. About the position As a nurse in the Diabetes and Endo team, you will have a versatile everyday life with both independent patient care and collaboration in interdisciplinary teams. Your tasks will include, among other things: Independent consultations with patients with diabetes Retinal photography and assessment of eye complications due to diabetes Supervision of Rigshospitalet's other departments for patients with diabetes Independent consultations with patients with endocrinological diseases Dispensing medicine and administering injections and infusions to patients with endocrine diseases. Works independently, but thrives in interdisciplinary collaboration Sees the patient and relatives as important resources in the treatment Has a patient-involved approach and wants to contribute to the development of nursing Can reflect on own practice and take responsibility for professional development The position is a permanent position with employment as soon as possible or by agreement. The application deadline is 8 April 2025. We will hold regular interviews. The position is 37 hours/week, or part-time by agreement. In the outpatient clinic, you work on day shift on weekdays and in the bed ward. As something new, it is also possible to take the evening shifts on weekdays instead of weekends.
