Our target group and treatment approach Unit 2320 is an intensive adult psychiatric unit which receives patients from all over North Zealand with a special need for intensive treatment, observation and nursing care. Our target group is mainly patients who suffer from schizophrenia, depression, crises, abuse, personality disorders and bipolar disorder. In addition, we also receive patients with legal conditions as well as citizens from all residences in our reception area who are affiliated with the housing services team. The treatment is organized based on a recovery-oriented approach. Involvement of the patient and their relatives is at the center, so that we can create a good and safe hospitalization process. We work based on BBUI - Better Treatment Under Hospitalization, to ensure uniform clinical treatment and better coherence and continuity between hospitalization and outpatient treatment. In addition, we work cognitively, which is why our patients who are motivated can be offered cognitive behavioral therapy. Your tasks as a nurse on ward 2320 Your core task will be relational work, treatment and care of the patients on the ward based on their wishes and needs. In this connection, you will be responsible for finding an approach that matches the individual's resources and where they get the care and security they need. All of this in collaboration with the department's chief physician and the other staff. In close collaboration with your interdisciplinary colleagues, you will also get to work with: Calming methods and de-escalation techniques, safeguards. Reduction of coercion. Environmental therapy. Activities adapted to the individual's need for structure and predictability in everyday life. Meaningful activities. We are looking for you who are licensed nurses. Desire and interest in working with the psychiatric specialty. Is good at keeping an overview - even in stressful situations. Is curious about working with the prevention of conflicts and coercion. Is committed, independent and aware of responsibility. Is good at working with others. Want to develop yourself both professionally and personally. Psychiatric experience is a plus, but not a requirement. We offer a well-planned introduction program which is adapted to you, so that you get a thorough insight into the thesis, get to know the department's workflows and your new colleagues. Mentoring, with follow-up conversations with your mentor. A professionally and socially well-functioning department with few replacements, where there is plenty of opportunity for sideline training by an experienced colleague. An exciting workplace where you are expected to participate actively in the work of developing a culture of improvement. Participation in shift planning. Cognitive supervision in the section as part of the continued implementation of cognitive behavioral therapy. Teaching the entire staff group, with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy, safeguards, recovery, reducing coercion, de-escalation, psychophysical training, etc. Professional development and your safety are very important to us. Like the rest of the Psychiatric Center Nordsjælland, we work with the LEAN method for the development of systematic ongoing improvements, as well as safeguards to reduce coercion. In addition, there are prevention instructors who are present in the evening hours to be helpful in preventing any run-up situations. These teach and guide in psychophysical training, as well as de-escalation techniques in the guards, to reduce coercion and guide in acute situations. Terms of employment The position is for 37 hours and we want you to start on 1 May 2025 or as soon as possible. You are employed in accordance with the collective agreement for non-executive personnel in the area of the Health Cartel. During your employment, you are covered by the working time agreement concluded between the Regions' Wage and Tariff Board and the Danish Nursing Council. The 24-hour section is covered 24 hours a day, and you will therefore be scheduled with mixed shifts in accordance with the rules in the current working time agreement.
