A nurse with broad clinical experience is wanted for the phase II Stroke Department at Holbæk
Are you passionate about working with rehabilitative nursing and making a difference to the patient's physical and mental abilities? Now is the time to strike! We are looking for more nurses for our stroke department, as one of our experienced colleagues is retiring after many years of employment, and we want to upgrade both the professional competence and development within rehabilitation.
About the Apoplexy section
The stroke section, phase II, is part of Medical Department 2. Our goal is to provide the best rehabilitative nursing care to our patients, with an average length of stay of 12 days. We therefore have a strong focus on development and improvement in close collaboration with the other departments. There will be good opportunities for both professional and personal development in the position. You will be thoroughly trained for the specialty and the tasks in close collaboration with the head nurse, assistant manager, quality coordinator, discharge coordinator, clinical nursing specialist and your colleagues, all depending on your experience and needs. The training lasts a minimum of one month, after which you become part of the permanent norming.
A little about the job
You will be part of a rehabilitative stroke unit (colloquially APO), which is characterized by a high level of interdisciplinary expertise. We collaborate daily with the unit's doctors, neuropsychologist, speech therapist, nurses, social and health assistants, physio and occupational therapists, relatives and other cross-sectoral collaboration partners.
We receive stroke patients from Roskilde as soon as they have passed the acute phase and are ready to begin specialized rehabilitation. We attach great importance to the interdisciplinary collaboration with our therapists and the rehabilitative nursing care we provide. APO has 18 beds.
That is why we are looking for more nurses for our department - preferably also people with an interest in evening and night shifts.
