Help shape the climate-adapted Frederiksberg of the future
We are looking for an experienced, committed and cooperative project manager who will help to implement future climate adaptation projects in Frederiksberg. Your duties will primarily be as project manager of concrete climate adaptation projects, where you are expected to take responsibility for the entire project from development, planning, start-up and construction as well as handover to operation. Your role as builder and rope holder will be to ensure the progress of climate adaptation projects as well as their coordination internally and externally. You will be working with several different projects which are at different project stages, where there is daily sparring with your colleagues. In addition, like the other project managers, you will also be responsible for the work with the hydraulic catchment plans, which are an important foundation for the future construction projects, just as you may be involved in the other larger construction projects that the unit works with. You will be close to decision-making processes and development processes with testing of new methods. Their work takes place in close collaboration with Frederiksberg Forsyning, where you as a project manager enter into a well-functioning collaboration that is based on a high level of trust and professionalism.
We imagine that you:

Are a construction engineer, landscape architect or have equivalent academic training, and preferably 3+ years of experience from construction projects in a busy and densely built-up city
Has widespread understanding and broad experience with construction processes and management of major construction projects, with emphasis on construction in roads and public areas. 
Focuses on the execution of the projects and realizing them within the given framework.
Has in-depth knowledge of how a capital account must be put together, as well as how it is used in practice - including the preparation of capital estimates and budget assessments
Is a team player who likes to lift in a group, who has good collaboration and communication skills and understands the value of building good relationships, involving, coordinating and sharing knowledge - both internally and externally
Thrive both at the meeting table at the town hall and at construction meetings in the shed
Understands and recognizes what it means to work in a politically controlled organization
Able to think "all the way around" about the project in relation to the political process, external communication e.g. with the citizens, which permits must be obtained, etc.

The position is located in Roads, Parks and Environment, in the Traffic and Urban Space unit. Here you will be part of their interdisciplinary and enterprising climate adaptation group, which consists of engineers and landscape architects, who all work purposefully with the realization of the climate adaptation projects. In Trafik og Byrum you will be part of an enriching interdisciplinary environment within their work with small and large construction projects such as cycle paths, parking and new urban spaces as well as promoting accessibility, road safety, cycling and mobility. They have a great focus on the employees' development and well-being as well as a good professional and interdisciplinary environment, where they "play well with each other" and develop together.
Salary and terms of employment
You are offered employment according to the applicable collective agreement and with remuneration according to qualifications in accordance with the principles of New Salary. The position has a working time of 37 hours per week. They have flexible hours and the opportunity to work from home, so that work and family life can go together.
