Reclamation technologist

- fixed-term employment relationship -

The reclamation technologist performs the following tasks:

takes care of creating and maintaining an optimal water-air regime of the land;

undertakes measures aimed at preserving and improving the physical, chemical and biological properties of land;

takes care and takes measures to ensure favorable conditions for the growth and development of cultivated plants and to achieve stable yields;

supervises the operation and maintenance of the irrigation system; 

conducts the necessary employee training for handling and maintenance of the irrigation system;

supervises and controls the work of workers on the watering system;

is responsible for timely and correct undertaking of all measures necessary for putting the watering system into operation, during and at the end of the operation of the watering system:

field work;

jobs related to documentation and the administrative part of jobs under the remit of the land reclamation engineer.

Necessary conditions for performing tasks:

      ·
VII degree of vocational education
- Faculty of Agriculture-
direction
- land reclamation;

      · at least 2 years of work experience in land reclamation;

      · at least 6 months of work experience with modern irrigation systems;

it is desirable
: knowledge of computer work: MS Office (Windows, Word and Excel), power point;

     ·  category B driver's license, active driver;

     · 
it is desirable
: foreign language: English - intermediate level.
