It is important to us that all our citizens feel seen, heard and involved. That is why we have focused on developing social nursing care at the hospital since 2019.
Now we need you. Together, you will be a team of 2 social nurses who can work purposefully to promote social equality in health and thus strengthen efforts towards the most vulnerable citizens. These are citizens who are often hospitalized in somatics and psychiatry, have several chronic diagnoses, abuse, social problems or a combination of all of them.
By starting from the individual citizen's resources and needs, our social nurses are tasked with coordinating across psychiatry, somatics and other municipal efforts. Here, our social nurses make a great effort to improve the treatment process by working across organizational and professional boundaries.
You will be employed in the Emergency Department and will function throughout SUH Nykøbing Hospital with reference to the department management in the Emergency Department. At the same time, you will have a closely coordinated collaboration with our municipal partners and colleagues in psychiatry. We see the interdisciplinary cooperation as a decisive and most important factor in the performance of the function.
Our social nurses are part of the "Network for social nurses" in Region Zealand.
