Purpose:
As Sous Chef of the hotel you support Ex. Chef in all tasks related to the smooth operation of the department, the maintenance of high service standards, the monitoring of hygiene and safety rules and the achievement of the hotel's goals.
Responsibilities
He/she is responsible for the orderly operation of the kitchen, maintaining the high level of services provided, coordinating, organizing and controlling the adherence to procedures.
Takes care of the organization of the kitchen.
Supervises the actions of the kitchen staff during work
Checks all preparations and dishes before they are served to customers.
Observes and controls the correct use of hygiene rules and storage of raw materials in accordance with HACCP standards.
Takes care of checking the cleanliness of the area after the end of cooking.
Requirements
Necessary Qualifications
Culinary school graduate.
3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in a hotel.
Knowledge of food handling standards.
Good command of English.
