Substation engineer

The tasks of our new colleague will be
- for the 120/25 kV, 120/2x25 kV substations of electric traction, the overhead line energy remote control equipment, the 1500 V electric preheater and the 10 kV energy supply equipment and the switching and energy distribution system of the overhead line network - switch, meter, auxiliary plant, etc., - relevant technological and in accordance with maintenance regulations, performs the inspection, testing and maintenance work of the affected system independently, in order to maintain the operational readiness of the system.
- in the event of a breakdown or malfunction of the substation, FET, or pre-heating systems and their elements, he independently carries out the activities necessary for restoration and troubleshooting up to the level determined by his superior, in order to restore the electrical plant as soon as possible.
- in the case of work processes to be carried out by a third party in the vicinity of the substation, FET or pre-heating equipment, it provides independent professional supervision in order to preserve life, plant and property safety, as well as traffic safety.
- performs de-energization sub-operations on the substation, FET and pre-heating system independently and provides specialist supervision, in order to create the prerequisites for safe work near the high-voltage system.
- carries out the preparation, workshop-level repair and renovation of the equipment and fittings used during the various substation works, in order to achieve economy and the necessary replacements and replacements quickly.
- in the event of a remote control failure, provides local supervision at substations without operator personnel
- participation in the operation of a priority railway line
What is needed to fill the job role
- secondary specialized state school qualification (iron industry or electrical industry)
- secondary vocational qualification
- knowledge of applicable laws, standards, regulations and internal instructions affecting your field of expertise
- knowledge of systems, machines and equipment belonging to his duties
- work, fire, property and environmental protection knowledge
- 1 year of professional practice
