The job
We are looking for an experienced supervisor/plumbing engineer with strong expertise in plumbing, ventilation, sewerage and energy for AFRY's Buildings Design department in Herlev.

Buildings Design Herlev is a new and rapidly growing team. The team currently consists of 10 skilled and ambitious engineers and project managers who collaborate on varied and exciting projects on a daily basis. In a short time, they have built up a really good team spirit. The team is characterized by well-being and flexibility, as well as professionalism by interdisciplinarity, involvement, sparring and the opportunity to put one's professionalism into play.

You will be part of a strong interdisciplinary environment with competent colleagues who take pride in providing holistic advice.

The team works with all aspects within the many phases of construction. You will therefore be part of a professional professional environment where there is a focus on knowledge sharing and good collaboration. Your daily life will be characterized by good colleagues, professional challenges and great co-determination.

The position offers responsibility, influence and development. Therefore, it will also be important to network internally in the organization and seek out relationships.

In your everyday life, you will, among other things, to work with the following:

Act as LEAD engineer on larger and smaller projects, where you set directions and principles.
Support projects in the other business areas for infrastructure, energy and industry.
Provide external advice to customers with a view to optimal choices and solutions.
Solving tasks within the design of plumbing, ventilation, sewerage and energy on both new build and renovation projects.
Advise younger colleagues internally in relation to project planning.
Carry out professional supervision.
Make your mark on a newly started and growing department.

Qualifications
Your personality plays a central role in your success in the job. Your commitment and results-oriented approach, together with qualities such as initiative, overview and persistence, are important prerequisites. You are approachable, have strong communication and negotiation skills as well as a solid financial insight and good business understanding.

We imagine that you will fit well into the job if you:

have a technical educational background as an engineer, installer or equivalent.
has planning experience within the consulting industry.
have experience in coordinating interdisciplinary interfaces, based on your professional background.
is at home in the field within the framework of the building regulations and DS.
can work in project teams within own subject as well as interdisciplinary.
can independently manage the subject discipline on projects and the interdisciplinary coordination.
contribute to further development of company procedures.
