Short description of the company HOSPICE Casa Sperantei is a non-profit organization founded in 1992, which introduced the concept of palliative care in Romania. With over 30 years of activity, HOSPICE is the national leader in the field of palliative care, offering free and integrated services for patients with incurable and life-limiting diseases and their families. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of patients, offering them medical care, social support, psycho-emotional and spiritual counseling. Currently, Casa Sperantei HOSPICE has care centers in Brasov and Bucharest, mobile teams in Fagaras and Zarnesti, as well as a socio-medical center at Adunatii Copaceni intended exclusively for child patients and their families. In the 32 years of activity, we have brought relief and hope to almost 50,000 patients. Requirements• Minimum studies: completion of a bachelor's degree in nutrition and dietetics• Qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics•Responsibility• recognizes that food has emotional, social and cultural significance and that changes in dietary intake are problematic for the patient, family and carers• assesses symptoms that may interfere with appetite food or with food and identifies solutions• establishes together with the patient realistic goals and expectations to improve the quality of life in the face of decline and imminent death in the context of a therapeutic relationship• evaluates the patient's diet or diet modifications Understanding the principles of nutrition and its relevance for the quality of life• identify the need for nutritional supplements; makes their indication and selection based on scientific evidence and the patient's personal needs• supports the multidisciplinary team in the nutritional management of problems related to symptoms such as loss of appetite, altered taste and smell, dysphagia or cachexia• facilitates discussions regarding the potential benefits and consequences of oral, enteral and parenteral nutrition supplementation• advises on the preparation/supplementation/relaxation of previous dietary restrictions, as appropriate for the sick person• actively contributes within the unique interdisciplinary plan to the management of digestive problems, such as low appetite, weight or constipation• facilitates a dignified death for the terminal patient by educating the family and professionals regarding the futility of nutrition and hydration at the end of life Other information Work norm: 8 h/day Work schedule: from Monday to Friday Contract duration: fixed, until [phone removed] Benefits: • Belonging to a team of professionals, in an organization with solid foundations and national and international recognition as a Center of Excellence, professionals united by a noble mission and motivated by values such as: hope, care, quality of life, dignity, compassion• Active support in planning the evolution and professional development in palliative care• Access to supervision/clinical intervention programs and programs to prevent burn/rust-out• Meal vouchers worth 40 lei, according to the work norm;• Subscription to medical services and private insurance• 26 days of annual leave;• 1 day off related to the day of birthBenefitsSubscription medical, life insurance, trainings, courses, meal tickets
