Job description

The independent accountant is responsible for all accounting processes for assigned clients, including the use of programs and tools, document management, payroll, VAT preparation and submission, as well as final accounts. His work requires a high degree of independence, accuracy and efficiency, with constant monitoring of legislative changes relevant to accounting.

Job Responsibilities:

Documentation: Independent documentation management with the ability to recognize and suggest changes to improve the documentation management process.

Posting: Independent preparation and processing of accounting data with support and supervision for complex issues.

VAT: Independent preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly VAT, with continuous monitoring of changes in the relevant legislation.

Reports: Independent preparation of reports, while actively suggesting improvements for more efficient work.

Salaries: Independent salary calculation with support and supervision for complex issues.

Gross balance: Independent production of gross balance.

Final account: Preparation of the final account with the support and control of the head of accounting.

Communication with clients: Daily effective communication with the support of the head of accounting for complex issues.

Mentoring: Support to colleagues and mentoring of juniors in agreement with the head of accounting.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma of basic academic studies in the field of economics, finance, or accounting.

From 3 to 6 years of work experience in the field of accounting, candidates with agency experience are preferred.

Advanced knowledge of accounting programs, knowledge of Pantheon and Minimax is an advantage.

Knowledge of tax laws.

Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

The ability to observe the process of up-to-dateness and make suggestions for increasing efficiency and improving work.

Ability to independently agree deadlines with the client.

Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Knowledge of the English language.
