As a social and health assistant student, you will train yourself to competently participate in the interdisciplinary collaborations that are being developed in the close and coherent healthcare system, where patients with several different diseases are discharged for continued care and treatment in the municipality. You will have an exciting and unpredictable everyday life, where the focus is on relationships, person-centred care, different and often complex life situations and on the citizen being actively supported in mastering as much as possible in their own life, based on your personal and professional skills. The education opens up your career options for further education as a nurse, physiotherapist, occupational therapist etc. We are looking for Social and Health assistant students who are: Curious and open to learning new things. Ambitious, committed and reliable. Preoccupied with creating quality, professionalism and results in collaboration with citizens, relatives and colleagues. Aware of meeting citizens respectfully, with dignity and with a focus on quality of life. Innovative, action-oriented and creative thinking. Aimed at taking on a professional role with great responsibility and with many balls in the air. Prepared to take responsibility for own learning and education. Your areas of work will include: Holistically oriented somatic nursing, including handling of medicines. To work to promote health and prevent disease as well as motivate and guide citizens To document the nursing care provided in a professional language. To have knowledge of the legislation and work responsibly within it. Early detection, rehabilitation and quality assurance To contribute to the further development of nursing To collaborate professionally, interdisciplinary and cross-sector in coherent citizen processes. The education alternates between school stays and internships. Greve Municipality will act as your employer throughout the training course. You can look forward to an education with a salary, and you will be guaranteed an internship. Greve Municipality collaborates with ZBC, where our students have their school periods. To be able to start the program for Social and Health Assistant, you must have passed basic course 2, SOSU or have a Social and Health Assistant training. We also employ students on Basic Course 2. The training lasts 2 years and 10 months. If you have a Social and Health Care assistant training, you will get at least 6 months credit.
