We are looking for a Construction Lead Manager for HVDC Projects to join the expanding team of our multinational energy technology partner company. In more than 90 countries, our partner offers solutions to meet the ever-increasing energy demand, taking climate change into account. Construction Lead Manager (for HVDC Projects) Tasks Your work day begins at an industrial construction site, where you plan and organize daily site activities with your team. In the construction area, you are in constant contact with the client, the authorities, and the subcontractor partners, in addition to the project team working in the background and the project management. You are responsible for all on-site work that falls under the responsibility of our partner company. You ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety (EHS) requirements, regulations and procedures. You represent the interests of project management on site to the client, authorities, contractors, partners and consultants. You are responsible for financial results, schedule and adherence to quality standards. you document deviations (non-conformances) and manage contractual and claims activities. Requirements Openness to work on foreign construction sites and relocation. Advanced degree in electrical or civil engineering. Relevant experience of at least 5 years as a construction leader in complex industrial projects (preferably in the case of high-voltage direct current - HVDC - power transmission projects) Excellent communication skills and experience in leading large international teams. Confident knowledge of English and German is essential for filling the position, knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
