Job Description

In Kerteminde Municipality, we have great ambitions to strengthen and develop the good work that is already being carried out in the specialized children and youth area. We are looking for a professional manager who can help ensure the quality of our case management in relation to children and young people with disabilities and focus on cooperation with citizens. Central to the coming year's development work in the specialized children and young people area is the continued increased focus and strengthening of early and preventive work, so that children and young people with functional disabilities and their parents are supported as early as possible. The development work is also focused on continued implementation of the Children's Act, including the involvement of children and young people with disabilities. We are currently looking for a professional manager for the disability team. You will not be given responsibility for finances and personnel matters. You will report to the joint area manager of Family, Children & Youth Counselling. It is expected that you manage a sasgstambe equivalent to 1/3 of an advisor position. The number of cases varies in periods, but is expected to be approx. 10 cases. About us: Family, Children & Youth Counseling is an interdisciplinary department that includes all well-being-promoting and preventive efforts in the area of ​​children and young people. The department is led by one general manager and 4 professional managers for the approx. 60 employees.  Everyone is organized in teams within Health Care, PPR, Reception, the Family Team and the Handicap Team. Your closest colleagues and collaborators will be the other 3 professional managers in Family, Child & Youth Counseling. The job: Professional management of the disability team Sparring with employees and managers Ensuring operation and task resolution Ensuring uniformity in our case management Management of team meetings Distribution of tasks and cases Handling of complaints You will be part of the management's holiday coverage Profile We want a manager who is characterized by being professionally well-grounded, involving, listening, accessible and curious about your employees and about the children, young people and parents who need support from the team. You have a citizen's perspective in your sparring with the employees and the decisions you make together to help children and young people with disabilities.
