About usIn Sengeløse Fritids- & Ungdomsklub we create a safe and inclusive environment where children and young people can meet, form friendships and explore their interests together. We have 220 fantastic members, a committed team of employees and close cooperation with parents and the local community. Sengeløse is a village with a special community and a spirit that characterizes the club. We actively participate in the life of the city, for example the club is one of the driving forces at the annual city festival. In many ways, our new club leader must want to take initiative and get involved in the local community and be a visible part of both the club and the city. Your role as club leader Our current leader is retiring, and we are looking for someone who will help ensure a meaningful and motivating everyday life for both children, young people and employees. As club leader, you have overall responsibility for the club's daily operations, development and educational direction. You work closely on the management of the club with a newly hired deputy manager so that you jointly create a clear and present management, and together with the rest of the team you focus on creating well-being and good experiences for the members. The role entails that you: Have the pedagogical, financial and administrative responsibility for the club. Spend time with children and staff and are part of the club's everyday life - both as a role model and sparring partner. Develop the club's activities together with the children and staff and ensure that they are up-to-date and engaging. perspectives and ensures that they are involved in the development of the club. Works with a sustainable approach – both socially, economically and environmentally – in the club's daily operations and development. You will be part of a management team across the Youth and Education Centre, where we make many decisions together. We value a manager who can "stick his finger in the ground" and feel what is going on in the employee group, in the children and in the local community, and develop our organization in cooperation with other players. Who are you? You are a trained educator and have solid experience with children and young people - preferably from a club or leisure institution. We value that you work democratically and inclusively, both in relation to children and young people and to your employees. In addition, it is important that you: Have experience in management or a desire to develop as a leader. Are good at creating relationships and engage both children, young people, parents and employees. Understand the value of a committed and locally rooted community. colleagues and a close connection to the local community. Here you will have the opportunity to: Get good management colleagues who support and help you - especially at the start, where you will also be assigned an experienced mentor. Participate in cross-cutting activities with the other clubs, where we share ideas, create joint projects and strengthen the overall club offer in the municipality. Work closely with a small, dedicated team of employees, where the best for the children is the focus and where professional perspectives are highly valued, and where daily operations and development happens through good collaborations. Develop professionally and personally in an inspiring and meaningful environment. Become part of a strong leadership community, where we actively spar and use each other's skills and differences. We are busy developing the clubs in Høje-Taastrup together and creating joint efforts that contribute to more young people getting a youth education. As a club leader, you are also part of a larger leadership group in the Youth and Education Centre, and you report to the center manager.
