Job Description
Do you have experience in managing complex projects and do you want to contribute to the development of vital government digital infrastructure? Then you might be our new project manager for the Data Distributor in the Climate Data Agency, where we work for a climate-robust, green and safe Denmark. The Climate Data Agency is the driving force in the work to utilize data efficiently and innovatively for the benefit of society. The agency is part of the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Supply, and we work to deliver the data and digital solutions that form the foundation for Denmark's green transition, climate protection and security. The joint public Data Distributor, which is a central part of the socially important public data infrastructure. The data distributor is being modernized for the benefit of its many users. The project is more than halfway through the modernization phase and is expected to be completed at the turn of the year [phone removed]. As a project manager in the Danish Climate Data Agency, you will initially be responsible for leading the Data Distributor project well on target, and then you will have to run other projects in the agency. We have many exciting projects that work with future data and green transition. This can be both within real-time data, digital twins and other modernization of infrastructure. The Climate Data Agency is currently working on maturing its project organisation, and you will therefore, as a professional beacon, have the opportunity to contribute and influence how the project work in the agency should develop going forward. Your tasks Your most important task will initially be to manage the Datafordeler project well, including to: manage internal resources and deliveries in close cooperation with the system's supplier ensure a good and constructive cooperation with the system's supplier and its project manager ensure the involvement of the project's stakeholders, i.a. register authorities and users and serve the intergovernmental steering group ensure the overall financial management of the project and prepare for handover to the subsequent operational phase support the operational organization in the transition phase The project takes place in agile collaboration with the supplier, and you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Your background and experience You are a skilled and experienced project manager who is motivated by running complex projects with great social significance. You must have experience in the management of large IT projects, and we also value experience from other types of projects. The modernization of the Data Distributor is driven with an agile mindset, but in the agency we also have projects that are more waterfall-based. In addition, you must have experience in navigating a complex stakeholder landscape and have knowledge of projects in public authorities as well as experience with agile working methods. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of working in a politically controlled organisation, and if you have experience of presenting projects to the Norwegian IT Council, including the use of the Norwegian IT project model. As a person, you are outgoing and thrive on taking responsibility, where you get the project's stakeholders to work together and create good results. You are motivated by delivering important solutions in complex settings and can prioritize the task. What do we offer you? You will have a broad interface both internally in the Danish Climate Data Agency and externally. Salary and terms You will be employed in accordance with the collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and academics in the state with the possibility of negotiating a supplement.
