Plant protection technologist

Job Description:

-Participates in the development of operational plans for securing and procuring the necessary protective equipment,

on the basis of adopted operational plans, organizes and monitors all work related to soil testing, treatment against weeds, treatment against diseases and undertakes other measures to protect plants,

-takes the necessary measures to protect certain cultures and monitors the occurrence of diseases,

-monitors the occurrence of plant diseases and pests on plots, which is the basis for planning the use of protective agents,

-determines the method of pesticide application with sprayers and aerial treatment,

-analyzes the market and monitors the predicted occurrence and development of plant diseases and pests,

- takes care of the adequate and successful application of pesticides and other plant protection agents,

-especially cooperates with the agricultural pharmacist in the issue of keeping a warehouse of protective equipment, 

- cooperates with authorities for successful chemical protection of industrial plants

- organizes the sowing of cereals at individual agricultural producers,

-actively participates in all stages of grain production,

-takes measures to ensure that cereals have the appropriate quality,

- makes sure that each producer meets the conditions prescribed by law,

- may not issue goods to new subcontractors without the prior written consent of the Director or Technical Director,

-plans and organizes the procurement of seed goods and means for plant protection as well as agrotechnical means from subcontractors,

-makes a proposal and participates in solving production and purchase problems,

- in his work, he is obliged to use the prescribed means and apply safety and health measures at work,

- makes sure that other employees also use the means and apply safety and health measures at work,

-performs other tasks at the behest of the direct manager and the Director 

he reports to the Director for his work

Conditions:

- VSS, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Plant Protection

- work experience of 1 year

-knowledge of working on a computer

- category B driver's license
