Barfoed Group is looking for a project manager

Do you have good experience with your structured and collaborative approach to managing construction projects? Then you should take a closer look at the position as project manager at Barfoed Group, where you will have a lot of latitude and responsibility for both new build and renovation projects.
Housing ranging from historic properties to new construction
With more than 100 years of experience in property management, Barfoed Group owns and leases approx. 5,500 residential and commercial leases in Denmark. The company has its own craftsmen, administration and service employees to take care of the day-to-day running of the company's properties - and in this way they ensure the best and most efficient service for the company's tenants. In addition to the day-to-day running of properties, Barfoed Group does both renovations and new builds of properties.
To ensure a good and well-structured process for both new construction and renovation tasks, they are now looking for an experienced project manager. More specifically, you can look forward to the following primary job functions:

Project management of own projects with responsibility for compliance with finances and schedules.
Carry out negotiations with contractors, management of external technical advisers, authority processing, etc.
Use DALUX as an integrated project management tool together with other common IT tools.
Optimizing the quality in the construction phases by having an eye for problem solving of construction technical challenges in the various phases of the construction process
Implementation of project meetings, construction meetings, etc. as a natural part of the processes.

You get a reference to the Technical Director, and share your everyday life with 35 committed colleagues at the office in Odense. In addition, you will of course be present at the various locations for the construction projects for which you yourself are responsible.
Project manager with poise and strong collaboration skills
The primary "key-words" for the position are project management, renovation and new construction, and if your experience and professional interest lie within these areas, then you are already well on your way. Do you come with an educational background as a building designer or structural engineer, preferably built on top of a vocational vocational training. At the same time, it is important that you are clear in your communication and motivating for all the players who are part of the field throughout the construction process.
You are also well-articulated in written and spoken Danish, and preferably spoken English.
